American cities

Miami

Wynwood Art District
The Old Commercial estate is abandoned.
The walls of buildings are painted by artists over and over again.
Whole streets covered with murals.
A Japanese lady with a red mask, one in kimono.
A red crane is in front of it to complete the mural.
On an open space stands a large concrete hand with a rocket.
Bob Marley's portrait is on a large wall.
In front of that, a limousine, the black driver, is singing loudly a song by Bob Marley across the square.
A black and white building is graphically displayed in the fashion district.
Small fashion shops painted colorfully complements the street picture.
The lady with the golden hat is looking into the distance.
Back on the beach, black clouds in the sky. The white beach lies and umbrellas stand out from the dark horizon and set the scene with the colorful lifeguard house.

Las Vegas

Bizarre building, shiny metal surfaces of architect Frank Gehry's Cleveland Clinic.
Colorful neon advertisement at the MGM Grand Hotel.
Purple, colorful metal trees stand on the Las Vegas Blvd.
The high railway rattles though the canyons to the Neon Museum, where a neon-light high heel from the Silver Slipper Casino leads the view of the museum.

Los Angeles

Fascination of the facade, red, silver, metal rails include the Petersen Automotiv Museum and attracts everyone's attention.
Frank Gehry's "Walt Disney Concert Hall" with its metal plates shiny in the sunlight let our eyes wander.
The "Binoculars Building" by Claes Oldenburg is on Main Street.
The County Museum of Art on Wilshire Boulevard.
In Venice, the skaters show their daring jumps.

New York

Times Square a city that never sleeps, neon adverts in all colors.

Chicago

City on Lake Michigan, in the middle of Chicago, a brook idyll with blue flowers.
From the speakers you can hear music from Frank Gehry's bandstand.
On the square there is a large, shiny stainless steel plastic "The Bean", which reflects the Chicago skyline.
The old elevated train rattles along the rusted loop, past the facades and gorges with their fire escapes.

Amarillo

The Cadillacs stand upright in the sand like guards.
A sign "don't spray" points to a large rubber tire with lots of spray cans and asks people to do it anyway.

Kansas City

Giant shuttlecocks lie on the lawn in front of the museum as if by chance.
Spines of books seven meters high stand on the roadside, behind which there is a parking garage for a library.

Santa Fe

Adobe houses on the market square. A wall full of bull skulls. Ceramic bowls and jugs with black patterns.
At the wedding on the market square, the mariachi band plays and sings dance music.
